Plans For The Future

God has blessed Mission Nicaragua with nearly 5 acres of beautiful land for development! We already have a parsonage built and a church/community shelter that seats 400. Children are playing soccer and baseball in the fields. We have a dream to develop this land as a blessing to the church and the village.

In 2008 We Hope to:

  • See all of the churches grow with new souls and be discipled for Christ and reach many youth for the Kingdom of God in both Candelaria and other outreach villages.
  • Prepare athletic fields by grading and equipping with goals, etc.
  • Continue to develop the organic herb and vegetable gardens and create nutritional juices and herbal medicines
  • Complete a 1,600 square foot fully outfitted dental/medical clinic and create and mobile Medical/Dental unit for the outreach rural areas
  • Develop many small home businesses
  • Continue to develop the Bible College and Leadership Training for native pastors and evangelists
  • Build more small houses for the homeless and repair roofs
  • Sponsor small church projects in outlying villages and the pastors who serve them. Our hope is to connect these rural pastors and churches to US pastors and churches to adopt them for support and encouragement
  • Build a secure industrial building that the sewing and hammock making ministries can house their equipment and work to provide for their families
  • Start a breakfast program for the school children
  • Find sponsors for our new Adopt-a-Family Project
  • Goat project
  • Youth Church and discipleship program

All of these projects will help the people to become self-sufficient and to minister to their community. We do not want to be a mission that keeps the needy in dependency. We want to help them to meet their basic needs and develop skills for employment. We desire to support the local Christian leaders and help them to spread the Good News of Jesus' love in surrounding communities. We hope to help them to plant more churches in the future and meet more and more  needs through healthy community development.
