New Song has made a huge effort alongside our faithful sponsors to dream, plan and build numerous projects. Many of these projects are a service to the community and utilize Nicaraguans in their workforce. Our goal with every project is to keep it functioning under our mission purpose and vision and see it bear good fruit.
Education
- 150 school aged children and 10 young people sponsored for trade schools and higher education
- Weekly discipleship programs for children and young adults
Vocation
- A large irrigated vegetable garden manned by 5 worker producing 5000 ears of corn, 1000 pounds of rice and 60,000 pounds of tomatoes in 3 different harvests
- A bakery/kitchen is income generating and self sustaining with an attached storefront and marketing to nearby towns
- Hammock, bracelet and jewelry making
- Animal husbandry
- Sewing and English Classes
- A community store selling drinks and snacks
Community
- Designated as a disaster relief center
- Community meetings such as elections, community decisions and health education
- Outreach events such as beauty day, movie night, and holiday fiestas
- Public hand-pumped well accessible to thousands of people when water is not available
Health
- Affordable, state-of-the-art, medical and dental care for thousands of people right on our property
- Fitness and self defense classes
- Sports leagues for all ages
International Outreach
- Administration of funds and ministries for several community outreaches for sponsoring US churches
- Internship program to train and use up-and-coming missionaries
