Real Life in Nicaragua
Leda Mendoza was a homeless single mother caring for her 3 teenagers and her sick mother. The church in Candelaria found out about her and began bringing block, sand, cement, and some gave jewelry and money to build her a house. They said that they wanted to do something for one of their own people without any outside help. Now Leda has a nice block house with many plants in her yard and a family that God has given her within Jesus Christ the Good Shepherd Church.
This is a Thank You Letter from Carla Aguirre,
Dear Amy,
It's my heart that God is blessing you with good health and giving you strengths to soar like an eagle as you serve Him as well as giving you what He knows you need.
I'd like to thank you wholeheartedly for helping me take care of my debt. I'm really impressed with your generosity and sensitive heart. I don't have words to tell you how appreciative my children and I are with you of your financial support for us at a time like this. God has given you a heart to model His and you're doing well. May the Lord help you grow through your struggles and bring you out stronger than ever. My children and I have gone through many miserable times, yet the Lord's been with us through them all. His mercy for us is beyond our imagination. I just can't understand why He is so good with people like me; I guess is because of His love for us as they say.
Amy, I know God called you to be His own. Don't give up easily. I may not be the right person to give you this advice but I sure know that He is worth every hardship we face in life. Please, keep me and your prayers. I need so much that your prayers will be so much appreciated. I'll pray for you not to lose heart whenever God test you over things that you value so highly as that's when I was about to kill myself. I felt so hopeless and depressed. I'm happy that God gave me a second chance as I've been able to feel God's love through my children, sister and friends more than ever and now through you and your generous support.
My oldest children Mario, Kellie, and Marcos send their greetings and love. They've been with me through all my hard times. Again, thanks for what you've done for us. May God bless you and be with you wherever you go!
Sincerely, Carla Aguilar.
